Radiac System for Ships (SIRS4012)
 
This system is designed to monitor gamma radiation in and around the Naval ship and to give an early warning and full appreciation of radiological hazard to the Ship.
 
• Consists of Central, External indicating units with Detectors.
• 8-Channels for measurement.
• Measures radiation levels up to 9.99Gy/hr in two ranges.
• Ranges – 0.01mGy/hr to 9.99mGy/hr and 1Gy/hr to 9.99Gy/hr.
• Provided with Audio, Visual alarms.
• Built-in Simulator for training of personnel.
• Tested for JSS 55555 environmental standards.
 
Application:
 
 This system is used in major/minor war ships by Indian navy to detect the gamma ray exposure.
