To promote, it as  place of professional excellence in market development and a dependable companion of all Business Divisions as well as the Management to provide services in market-promotion & business development for all the products, projects and services across the Enterprise.

Current Profile, Areas of operation & Objective

  1. Helping Business Divisions to identify new areas of business, new products and new markets.
  2. Identifying potential / niche customers and working with Business Divisions to enter into MOUs for long-term relationship.
  3. Coordination of ECIL's participation in Exhibitions, Seminars, Trainings and Workshops conducted by various Vendors, Technology / business Houses etc.
  4. Arranging lectures / presentations by domain / technology experts for the Executives of ECIL.
  5. Promoting Export Market for ECIL's Exportable Products and Services
  6. Preparing and publishing Corporate Videos, Corporate Brochures and Presentations for market promotion.
  7. Updating the Corporate presentation and making presentation to visiting dignitaries and customers.
  8. Coordinating bid preparation against tenders where multiple Business Divisions have to participate.
  9. Standardizing and managing the Corporate and Divisional publications such as product brochures, presentations, profiles etc. in terms of the lay-out, style and content for uniformity across the corporation and also publishing them in ECIL's website for use by Business Divisions and Branches.
  10. Uploading ECIL's tender documents to Govt. Tenders Portal.
  11. Communicating high value Tender information to Business Divisions as a supplement to their efforts and submission of timely MIS Reports to management on the number of bids submitted / not submitted.
  12. Furnishing MIS Reports on ‘Lost Order Analysis' on monthly basis for use by the top management.
